Just a minute

Calling all Ceramic Owls!

Calling all Ceramic Owls! We have recently acquired a cute 1890s oil lamp with ceramic body in the shape of an owl. Made by Bohne & Sohne this object is bang on trend! Animal ceramics and humorous objects are multiplying in an apparent scandi backlash. We would like to invite you to share with us pictures of ceramic owls and ceramic birds that you may have at home.

By sharing your photos and your stories, you will be contributing to the museum by increasing the understanding of the different objects that people have collected. What is the story behind the photograph? We want to know.

What's involved?

Share photos and related stories about the ceramic owls or birds you have at home.

Why get involved?
